The VIY Synchro v.2.05 software package will run under any 32-bits Windows® operating system.
It has multiple windows, and is intuitively understandable with a user-friendly interface.
The VIY v.2.05 software allows the operator to tune the VIY-2 series GPR during the data acquisition phase
for optimum performance. It will then load the captured data into the PC, store, process and print the dataset.
The GPR features determine the VIY v.2.05 tuning abilities. The software allows the user to set the
survey window from 50 to 700 ns, the start and stop points of the sounding range, step increment and
trace stacking. Time-varying gain amplifier (TVGA) thin tuning is also available.

Start and stop points of the sounding range is arbitrary determined with single increment.
The TVGA shape is set by a Bezier spline with an arbitrary number of reference points. During the GPR adjustment process
the received signal is shown in the oscilloscope window in real time.
Data acquisition can be made in continuous and step-by-step modes.
The measured data (profile) is displayed in 2D view with brightness and colour magnitude coding.
During data viewing it is possible to zoom the image, adjust the brightness and contrast,
and show a vertical slice in waveform mode.
The image processing is performed by special program plug-ins.
For example, this plug-in shown below, calculates the average trace for a profile, and subtracts it from every trace. Thus horizontal lines are removed from the profile.
It is possible to export data in .dat format. This allows the captured data to be used by other software packages.
The VIY v.2.05 software package will run under the following Windows® 9x, Windows® NT, Windows® 2000, Windows® XP operational systems. The software requires a PC with iPentium 133 processor or higher.
You may download the software package with a minimal plug-in set free of charge for evaluation purposes. A range of sample data is also provided. Please see our downloads section.
