Richard gained his BSc (hons) in Heritage Conservation at Bournemouth University. He followed this up with an MSc in Archaeological Computing: virtual pasts at the University of Southampton.
Richard is presently actively involved in Doctoral research (PhD) at the University of Winchester. This involves the surveying and recording of timber-framed properties in Hampshire that have been dendrochronologically dated between AD1244 and 1530.
